Brief history |
The Dream of
AGAPE FOR AFRICAN RELIEF began in 1990 when
Rev. Romeo A. Brown narrowly escaped death in the Liberian
civil war. Having heard, seen, and experienced suffering on
the continent of Africa, it was there that he promised to
spend his whole life serving the Lord.
He had a dream about the solution
to the suffering of the African people and the people of all
race.
The solution is the
LOVE OF CHRIST.
"When Christ
love dwells in every man then we can experience total peace
on the earth" (1 John 4:12) he says.
It is against this background
that the he invited few Christian friends to the table to
put into effect programs that will bring about total relief
to the African people and the people of all race.
These programs are stipulated
in the objective of AFAR.

This is a typical
African community. There are several of these communities currently
in Africa. The people living in these communities are suffering
from ignorance, diseases. malnutrition , lack of good drinking
water. And even during rainy season some of them are unable
to sleep at night due to leakages of their huts. A.F.A.R is
working hard to help these people out of their predicaments.
