In the 3rd year the 8 man league was scrapped in favour of the treadition 12 with a new draft. The other big story was that the Storm not only dominated the regular season but won the Championship over the St Pats to become the first ever back-to-back Daze Champion. In other notes, it was an interesting finsh of the regular season with many teams in the chase.

In the inagrial Yahoo Daze Basketball League, There were essentially two contenders from the get go. Red and DUd battled hard for the top spot and the two byes with DUd getting the nod at the wire. But when the payoffs started, it was DUd and Red once again battling for the cup but it was Red this time with the win and a minor upset to claim the cup.

In the 2nd year of the 8 man league, there was 1 team that easily dominated until the waiver wire playoffs began. The Scorchers were simplly the regular season best stretching their leaue lead to 21 games over second best team. With the playoffs however, the waiver wire came alive and Storm was able to upset St. Pats and then defeat Lumber in the final to claim the cup.
