Sweet Home?

Jesus said "In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so , I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you (John 14:2).

Some people have commented that "home is best".But what is happening in Malawi has raised alot of concerns that one may be tempted to think that home is not best.Since the general elections , one will have observed that the conflict between the incumbent President (Dr. Bingu Wa Mutharika) and the former (Dr. Bakili Muluzi) continue to widen. What is worrying is that these misunderstandings seem to generate a massive rift between the ruling party and the oppostion.Worse still, this rift is impacting negatively on the development of the country.

We need to be concerned about our country.We need to pray for our leaders, the economy and the welfare of our country.Much more, we need to pray that people should come to the knowledge of the Word of God.

Looking around we also see Zimbabwe in same situation. Before that it was Zambia. It seems African nations are locked up in endless conflicts that are destroying the fruit of our independence. Was it too early for African antions to be independent?

This is a call to prayer.
