| Hello and Welcome Our names are Tom, Maggie and Kirsty Burlinson and we have been breeding and showing pugs since 1992. We strive to produce quality not quantity. Each litter is carefully planned as we consider the preservation and improvement of the breed each time we breed. Over the years of showing, we have had some great pugs and all of them have done very well in the ring. We are fortunate to have Western Australia's first Grand Champion pug, Patrian Peppercorn. Brodie loves the show ring and when he competed as a semi-retired nine year old at the Perth Royal Show 2008, he attained the Reserve Challenge. We occasionally bring Brodie back out for a day out and he goes into the ring and still does us proud. |
| Burlson Pugs started as Maggie wanted a pug as a pet, we started looking around for the breeder, we finally found them and luckily they had a litter of puppies, there was one boy we had to have. When we finally got him home, we called him "Nikko". We started showing him and he did every well. After a few years of learning and studying the breed, we decided to expand the family and locate a girl, "Shabika" came into our lives and obtained her title at 22 months. Shabika helped us to create Burlson Pugs. Sadly, Nikko and Shabika have crossed over rainbow bridge and each day they are missed. When we have litter of puppies we are very careful on where they go, as we want the best for them and we would like to think that they will stay with their new owners for ever. When it comes to planning a litter, carefully selection is undertaken as we are trying to improve the breed and make the most of what each parent can offer. We only breed a litter when we want something to keep for ourselves.
