Introduction to Computer Systems is one of the first units that you will be doing. It is one of the two compulsory units in this course alongside to Using ICT to Present Information.

Most of this unit is focused on PCs, students will be able to explain the use of the basic common hardware components that they have.

Students will be able to make decisions on their own about selecting a PC for certain tasks or for a certain user.

A lot of the unit invovles building up knowledge of understanding hardware and software, but there will also be a time where students will show they can successfully connect hardware, and customise software for a certain users needs.
