Fans Illustrated SAVES Popular Backstreet Boys Fan Web Site

Fans Illustrated and Backstreet.net have agreed to co-promote an unprecedented edition of The Ultimate Fans: A Tribute to the Backstreet Boys, an 800+ page hardback commemorative book in which fans can publish personal letters, stories and photos about the band. The agreement will help allow Backstreet.net to maintain operations and continue to be the #1 source on the Internet for Backstreet Boys news.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fans Illustrated will support Backstreet.net via monetary and promotional assistance and will also use its proprietary web / database publishing technology to allow fans of the Backstreet Boys to be published in The Ultimate Fans: A Tribute to the Backstreet Boys via the company's Internet site at Fansillustrated.com

Caitlin and Dad (John West, Webmaster of Backstreet.net) believes Fans Illustrated saved Backstreet.net. “Fans Illustrated stepped in when we needed it the most. I’m confident Fans Illustrated will publish a Backstreet Boys masterpiece that will reflect the loyalty and excellence of the Backstreet Boys and its huge fan base. Both myself and Backstreet.net will support all efforts in the development of this cherished book. ALL FANS should take advantage of this opportunity to be published in a commemorative book dedicated to the boys."

Lisa Lombardo, Backstreet News Inc. Vice-President says "It has been an honor to see the growth of Backstreet.net over the past few years. As the Backstreet Boys and their music matured, so did the site. A few months back when Backstreet.net announced they were closing due to financial difficulties, it was heart-breaking for many fans. It was at this point, I began to contact various "Backstreet related" companies attempting to gain sponsorship for the site. Fans Illustrated was the first to reply. I cannot thank Fans Illustrated or Ken Jenkins enough for their time and devotion to aid in "Keeping the Backstreet Pride Alive," through Backstreet.net!"

Ken Jenkins, President of Fans Illustrated is pleased with the agreement, ”BSB fans are one of the most loyal fan bases in the world and they rely on Backstreet.net to provide up-to-date news and announcements of the band. When Backstreet.net thought of closing due to lack of revenue sources, I was determined to help find a solution to save the site. With our assistance, BSB fans will continue to enjoy Backstreet.net.”

Expectations are running high for The Ultimate Fans: A Tribute to the Backstreet Boys, as fans are speculating if it will beat the single-participation record set by Fans of the Millennium: The Backstreet Boys last year.

Don’t delay, the deadline is approaching, visit Fansillustrated.com to publish your letter and stories about the band in The Ultimate Fans: A Tribute to the Backstreet Boys.
