The Backstreet Boys -- up until they canceled their tour while A.J. McLean enters rehab for depression and alcoholism--boasted $51.6 million in ticket sales, albeit with audiences roughly half the size of 'N Sync's (the Boys were playing smaller venues). And speaking of the 'N Syncers, they landed in fourth place for the first six months--pulling in $38.7 million in receipts.

"I left to do BSB eight years ago," Brian says. "I kind of flew away and immediately had to grow up on my own. Now, I know my mom, dad and brother don't look at me the same way they used to. It's a tough thing to deal with and I know I have to make a conscious effort to make them feel comfortable. They can't get in touch with me sometimes, and it really makes me upset."

Verizon with 'N Sync and Kellogg's Pop-Tarts with the Backstreet Boys and Aaron Carter are riding the popularity of teen idols. At ''Aaron's Party,'' Kellogg's plays host to a giant chocolate-chip Pop-Tart rock-climbing wall. On the Backstreet Boys ''Black & Blue Summer Tour'' Kellogg's shows ads throughout shows. That tour is suspended until Aug. 7 while member A.J. McLean is treated for depression and alcohol abuse, but Kellogg's is staying with the band. ''We will be on board when they resume the tour,'' says Kellogg's Meagan Parkhurst.

Celeb Cause of the Month: Earth Angel Krystal, the first artist on the Backstreet Boys' new record label, has released her debut album 'Me and My Piano' today. Some of the producers who worked on her album include Patrick Leonard, Jonathan "Mook" Morant, Keith McGuffey, Kevin Richardson, and Damon Carter. The Boys are featured on the vocals as well. Backstreet Boys Tour Postponed
All JULY tour dates for the Backstreet Boys Tour has been postponed until September, due to Nick's broken hand and AJ, who has just checked into rehab for 30 days due to depression, anxiety, and alcoholism. The tour will resume on August 7th. Please hold all tickets until the rescheduled dates are announced. The tour has NOT been cancelled, it has just been postponed. Our prayers are with both AJ and Nick - we hope you get better soon.

Backstreet Boys Slate Announcement For 'TRL'
The Backstreet Boys took their Black & Blue tour to Boston over the weekend, and next the Boys will make an announcement regarding the trek during an appearance on Monday (July 9)'s edition of "Total Request Live." BSB will sit down with MTV News' John Norris for an exclusive interview during the show, and they promise some major news. "TRL" airs live on Monday at 3:30 p.m(ET).
Black & Blue Tour Dates for JAPAN have been tentatively announced. Please check the schedule for details.
