Interview from Live & Kicking
Source: Live & Kicking

Q: So what have you guys been up to since we last saw you?

Brian: I''ve been to the opening of Olive Juice, my wife's film, at the Orlando Mall in Florida.

Howie: I've been doing work for the charity I'm involved in. I went to Canada, to this small town, and gave them a huuuge cheque - they were so happy!

Nick: I didn't know that. We hear a lot of stuff about each other in interviews!

Kevin: I've just been hanging with my wife.

Q: You've been touring so what's your fave song to do live?

Kevin: Our new single MTT

Nick: That's a cool song to do, cause we're not really dancing or anything. It's a very beautiful, visual song so it's quite emotional.

AJ: I like doing the up-tempo tunes, like Get Another Boyfriend, cause I love having fun onstage.

Howie: I've got loads, Time, The Answer To Our Lives, and How Did I Fall In Love With You.

Brian: You'll just have to seee how it goes when we come over! (Yeah!)

Q: So if you could pick any opening act for your tour who would you choose?

Nick: I don't know if our fans would enjoy it but I'd pick a rock group like Limp Bizkit.

Kevin: I'm not sure Limp Bizkit would love it!

Nick: AJ would probably love it tho'!

AJ: Oh yeah, I'd jump up on stage with Fred Durst! We would be grooving on the stage together!

Q: Staying with that "Angry Men" vibe, what do you think of Eminem?

Kevin: I think he's a very talented guy and I just wish he'd use his talent in a more positive way. I think he's got a lot of hate built up inside of him and he needs to find a better way to get rid of it besides dissin' other artists. I mean, what goes around comes around - he needs to be careful.

Brian: People sometimes try to do all the wrong things to be successful and that's what I feel he's doing.

Nick: I don't think he's ever really taken a pop at us.

Kevin: It's mainly been *N Sync.

Q: So when you were at school, who would you have done anything for to see in concert?

AJ: Paula Abdul. I finally got to meet her not so long ago and my mum really embarrassed me by telliing her that I used to have her pictures all over my room! I was crazy about Paula Abdul - she was adorable.

Nick: I would have to say Nirvana. I think that would have been one of the greatest gigs of all time.

Howie: I was a big fan of New Edition and Boyz II Men, and I got to see both of them in concert.

Kevin: For me it would have been Prince or Michael Jackson.

Brian: I have to agree with Howie, New Edition and Boyz II Men, and Kool and the Gang.

Q: If you could spend the day with anyone, who would it be?

AJ: Madonna!

Kevin: Oh yeah baby!

AJ: She's passed by me but I haven't had a chance to talk to her. Howie's met her though.

Kevin: She was real nice to Howie, wasn't she D? Hahah!

Brian: She was all over him!

Nick: I'd spend it with our fans. That would be cool!

Kevin: Nick, you're such a suck up!

Howie: Who would i like to spend time with then? It would have to be someone I admire.

AJ: Ricky Martin (Everyone else bursts into fits of laughter)

Hwoie: Very funny boys! I would have to say Michael Jackson believe it or not. He's amazing!
Q: So what have you boys got left to achieve that you haven't yet?

Howie: To take a Grammy home. We haven't received one of those yet.

AJ: We'll probably have to wait like 40 years to get one though.

Howie: That' s ok cause we'll still be around.

AJ: We have a studio bus with us at the moment and it's great cause we can write songs whenever we want.

Kevin: Woah! Hold on - *I've* been working on the next album on the bus - where have you lot been?!

Nick: I was there!

Kevin: You were there, but what about the rest of you?

AJ: Sorry dude!

Howie: You see, we don't get a chance to talk to each other, so we have to express our feelings in interviews!

Q: Besides family and fans, what are the most important things in yer life?

Brian: I think one of the greatest things at the moment is just life in general. I've been through a lot of highs and lows, ups and downs. I look forward to life every day now.

Quote from Usher:

Q: What do you make of pop music at the moment? And girl and boy bands?

A: Hey, if that's the music people enjoy I can't knock them for it. I met BSB at a benefit gig we were both doing, and they are really humble, nice guys - and very hard working.
