The youngest---and most pearshaped---- member of the boy band Backstreet Boys admits he's piled on the pounds because he eats junk food whenever he has the blues.
"You could say I get overweight and depressed," says Nick Carter, 21. " Whenever the Backstreet Boys have time off, and I'm home by myself, I start feeling a little antsy. So I end up playing video games, watching TV and overeating."
Carter admits he's considering his furture with the backstreet Boys becuse he's struggling to hit the group's levels of fitness and fears he's turning into a Fatstreet Boy.
"It's been a real problem for me. Sometimes, people comment on how I look, like I've gained weight, which hurts.
"But eating is just something I do when I'm bored, when I feel sad or when I have too much free time on my hands."
Carter also blamed genes for his portliness. "I've always hated my stomach, I've got my dad's. Couldn't i get some other trait?"
