(3/22/01, 3 p.m. ET) -- The Backstreet Boys' first free, live Yahoo! concert webcast, originally scheduled to take place Friday (March 23), has now been postponed. Backstreet Boys Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell said in a statement: "The March 23 concert webcast scheduled to appear on Yahoo! has been postponed due to some unforeseen circumstances. We sincerely apologize to you for the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause." In other news, the Backstreet Boys are among the artists confirmed to perform at Nickelodeon's 14th Annual Kids' Choice Awards. The Backstreet Boys are nominated in the category of favorite singing group. Other performers include Destiny's Child, Aaron Carter, and pint-sized rapper Lil' Bow Wow. The show airs live Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon. Rosie O'Donnell is hosting the event, which takes place at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California.
Tonight through Sunday (March 23-25) the Backstreet Boys play Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico, with Krystal and Howie Dorough's sister Pollyanna Dorough serving as the opening acts.
