Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is tipped to star in the new version of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard musical.
Lloyd Webber is planning a comeback in London's West End for one of his less successful productions, Sunset Boulevard, and is looking at singer Nick to pull in the crowds.
Sources report that Carter is top of Lloyd-Webber's 'wish list'. One said: "He's the sort of person that would be perfect for the role."
But the composer's agent is denying they are considering Carter for the show, and said: "We've not yet made any announcement about it, but it is fair to say that we are developing a number of projects at the moment. No casting decision has been made yet."
The musical - based on the film of the same name - originally appeared on the London stage in 1993, and ran until 1996 at the Adelphi Theatre.
