According to Jojo of Los Angeles' KIIS-FM, fans have been voting for Howie as one of Oprah's Angels for the work he has done to increase Lupus awareness, for turning the negative in his life into a positive, and for lovingly keeping his sister Caroline's memory alive with the charitable foundation he established in her name and the foundation's numerous fundraisers.
