On November 21st music history will be written once more: The Backstreet Boys will release their third studio album, titled 'Black And Blue'.
And that's for sure right now: The work of the boygroup will beat all records, because whatever Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson touch is turned to gold. All in all the Backstreet Boys sold more than 55.000.000 albums and singles worldwide. The last album reached No.1 in 26 countries, earned Gold and Platinum in 45 countries, and the Boys themselves were nominated for 5 Grammys, got 4 Billboard Awards and the MTV Europe Music Award for 'Best Group'.
Now the five boys from Orlando, Florida try once again to conquer the hearts of the world's girls by storm. For one year the boys worked with the songs in New York, Orlando, Stockholm and London, they've been in the studio whenever they could, just to be sure that 'Black And Blue' will be really crackin'. In an interview AJ told us that "Honestly the music's kind of grown as well as we have and as well as our fans have, and you know, it's like "Quit Playing Games" was our first hit, and then after that came out "I Want It That Way", which was very similar. But it was different and it was more, I don't know, just had better harmonies, a little bit more production and honestly it was a better song. And, you know, it's like we just keep on trying to better ourselves while we're just trying to do better than we did last time. So we'll gonna be our worst, you know, critics about whatever we do. Anyway, so we gonna go over to Stockholm and work with Max Martin and his guys. I'm sure we'll come up with some - hopefully - hits again, and then put together a new tour and do it all over again and again, again."
The album was produced once again by Max Martin, who already worked with the Backstreet Boys on their first two albums.
A sneak preview of the album will be available from October 3rd on. Then the first single of the album will be released. The song 'Shape Of My Heart' is already considered to be one of the finest pieces of the Backstreet Boys.
