Dream wedding for Backstreet Boy Brian
Source: Worldmediaservice

After Kevin Richardson (28) married his girlfriend Kristin Willits on June 17th, now the blonde superstar Brian Littrell (25) has married as well.

In Atlanta, Georgia, he married his older girlfriend Leighanne Reena Wallace, a model from California, in the Peachtree Christian Church.

The planning of the big day was top secret. The wedding party itself took place only with a "few" friends and relatives and was celebrated with 300 invited guests in a harmonical and traditional way.

At the following party in the Four Seasons Hotel the Backstreet Boy had a very special surprise for his bride. In front of the guests he confessed his love with a love anthem that he had especially written for this moment and that he will never sing again in public. The other Backstreet Boys accompanied him in a choir.

After a long and mad party night the just-married couple went directly on their honeymoon to a South-Pacific island.

A world will die for countless female friends. Which Backstreet Boy will marry next?

But the five boys, as opposed to the clich, are not the groupie-eating boy group. Superstar Brian met his wife in 1997 at the occasion of a video shooting. Only a short while later the couple moved into their house in a suburb of Atlanta. They got engaged Christmas 1999. Whether the other Backstreet Boys are drawn to the altar soon? There seems to be a little bit of hope left for the female fans. Nick, Howie and AJ are not yet spoken for.

Whether they want to emulate their friends or not, they told us in an interview:

"Yeah, Kevin and Brian as well are both getting married, that's public knowledge, but the rest of us probably not for a couple of more years. Or even longer. We don't know. I mean, right now we're trying to focus on putting together a brand new album and work on our careers. And you can get married whenever you want to get married, but right now it's time to focus on Backstreet Boys time. And, you know, I'm sure all of us eventually one day will have a family, and have kids and get married and what not. As of right now, Kevin and Brian felt sure it was their time in their lives and they found the women that they want to spend the rest of their life with, they felt happy and thought now's the time to do it. The rest of us are not even close to being ready yet, so... keep your hands clean!"

The German fans can look forward to the boys' appearance in "Wetten dass...", the German TV-classic, where they are going to present their new single. In 2001 a world-tour will follow. Furthermore, the stars are working until the end of September to record their fourth album, which is due to be released in November.
