The Long Beach Marathon is coming up (2005)! We also continue to run for fun and train for any and all upcoming races!
We are meeting Tuesdays at Millikan High School (on Palo Verde, S of Spring) at 6:30pm. (6:00pm, if you want to warm-up) There is also a fun run on Sundays at 8:00am at El Dorado Park (Studebaker & Spring, near the tennis courts), with distances varying from 2 miles to 10K. It changes every week. People of all skills are welcome to participate and there is NO cost to run with us, but if you would like to join the team, get a 'free' team jersey, the newsletter, and weekly e-mail updates, we do encourage you to pay yearly dues of $25.
Come run with us a few times and check us out. You'll definitely have somebody to run with!!
