Documentation of the Development Process

The intent and purpose of this website is to get information out about the indoor facility as well as get information out about what it offers. We want users to see the training and rates offered and come in or schedule times to utilize all the facility has to offer. To make this possible I made a table that easily displays what part of each area of the facility costs per hour. As well as the table there is a contact form for users to use if they have any questions about the facility or want to schedule times to use the facility.

Defense of the Final Product

The reason for going with this design choice was it was easy to navigate and get all the information out in a simple way. I wanted to show the facility off in the pictures and let everyone know what is being offered. Each page has the same design, header, and colors so it does not take away from the information that is being provided. The fonts used were unique but not so unique that it took away from the context. I wanted to grab the readers attention while also making it easy to read. What we expect with each user coming to this site is to look for a specific thing they need such as price, training, and location and times. The way the site is laid out it is tailored to meet those needs.

Opportunities for Improvement and Growth

One key feature I would like to add to this website is the ability to schedule times and training online. I would like there to be an option where users can pull up a calendar and look to see what slots are available. If I had more time and resources the calendar would be the first change as well as making the background on each page have various pictures of the summer ball teams from the facility. This would have a more family appeal and a more personal touch. Another page I would like to add is a page that shows a list of all the former players who went on to play at the college and professional levels showing which school and team they went to.
