MoviE-town Theaters would tike to develop a 10 screenmovie theater and 3 sites for restaurant locations. The Board discussed the possibility ofpursuing a variance instead of rezoning to avoid problems in the future, if the movie theaterdoes not continue to occupy the property.Mr. Matt Brown, President of Hyder, spoke to the Board about the changes in thecompany's ownership. The company has been owned by an international company. As ofFriday, January 26, 2001, the employees of the company purchased the North Americandivision. The company will now be named the ARRO Group.Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Richard Stover to disapprove the Reid & Margaret WisslerSubdivision. Motion approved unanimously due to incomplete items referenced on thecounty review letter and the engineer's review letter. The Board also noted that no one hasappeared before the Township to discuss the plan.Patrick Barrett discussed the workshops available from PSATS.The manager then asked the Board about organized baseball leagues using the ball field atthe municipal building. The Board discussed the construction equipment that will be on thegrounds and the lack of parking available. Due to parking and safety concerns the Boarddecided that there should not be any organized games scheduled for this year.Patrick Barrett distributed a draft copy of a newsletter for review.A township resident has commented about the trucks that park under 222 on North ChurchStreet. Sylvan Fisher and Thomas Briggs said they have seen the trucks and the trucks are farenough off of the right-a-way.Patrick Barrett discussed the current dental/vision plans for the township employees. TheEducators Mutual plan has more benefits at a lower cost. The Manager then explained self-funding the vision plan, $300.00 per employee (family) per year. Motion by Walter Wannersecond by Richard Stover to change the dental coverage to Educators Mutual StandardSelect and self-fund the vision coverage with the same limits and benefits. Motion approvedwith Thomas Briggs, Walter Wanner and Richard Stover voting in the affirmative and SylvanFisher abstaining.Payment of Bills:Motion by Sylvan Fisher second by Thomas Briggs to pay the bills as listed. Motion approvedunanimously.
