A Friendship Circle is a circle formed by Girl Scouts standing and clasping hands (before they reach for each other's hands, girls cross their right hand over left). The circle represents the unbroken chain of friendship among Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world.
The Friendship Circle is a very special way of saying goodnight or good-bye to your troop until next week. When in the circle, you might repeat important information for the next meeting, such as events about to happen. This is also a good time to share a special wish for someone.
The Friendship Squeeze is a hand squeeze that is traded around a Friendship Circle from one person to another. When the squeeze has completely made it around the circle, everyone turns under her right arm, drops hands and leaves.
