The First Aider will assist the troop leadership in taking the girls on camping trips. We have tentatively scheduled 2 sleep overs and one one-night camping trip.

The First Aider is required by council to take First Aid Training. The required training is offered through the council and is listed in their training calendar. The troop will reimburse the volunteer for its expense.

The First Aider will purchase a well-stocked first aid kit for the troop upon the approval of the leader. (Submit receipts for reimbursement.)

The First Aider will ensure that the first aid kit contains all items required for troop camping. If items are missing or if supplies are low, they will restock as needed. A list of the required items can be obtained from the Leader or from the handouts received during training.

Note: It is very important for a parent to take this training. If a leader is the only trained adult and has to leave, the entire troop must leave camp (or sleep over) with the leader.
