Core Philosophy

  • Educare
  • Early childhood years are the most crucial years as they are a foundation for later years. Research indicates that 75-80 percent of the brain development takes place during the early childhood years. It is not just child’s play; a smile, a hug, some blocks, puzzles, and sand play go a long way in designing your child’s future. Therefore it is important to provide young children with good care and education, or in other words "Educare".

  • Nurturing Developmental Needs
  • Taking care of the developmental (age-appropriate) as well as individual needs of children is important for their growth and development. Experiences are provided in all developmental areas keeping in mind the unique needs of each child.

  • Emphasis on Love & Warmth
  • Whether your mother tongue is Kannada or Hindi, there is one language that is universal, the language of love. Through love and warmth children develop trust in their caregivers and express their feelings more easily. Our caregivers are trained to hug, pat, or hold the child accordingly.

  • Focus on Experiential Learning
  • Learning by doing, that is hands-on experience is the best way to learn. A variety of educational materials and toys, and proper guidance help children learn new concepts and reinforce older. It also makes learning more enjoyable as children 'live' the experience and just hear or see it.

  • Mixed Age-Group Learning Milieu
  • Children learn to be a part of a group, it fosters a sense of community, and they learn to respect each other's choices and needs. Older children learn to care for the younger one's and younger children strive perform better by observing their older peers. Children are socially more adjusted and learn skills such as helping, co-operating and negotiating.

  • Emergent Curriculum
  • We have a planned curriculum and time table for children, but children's curiosity, interests and experiences are equally important for us. During a session on modes of transport, if a bullock cart reminds the child of other domestic animals then he/she is encouraged to speak about it and other children's views are also given due consideration. Therefore children's interests and curiosity also shape the curriculum daily activities.
