This is the external flash that I use in low light situations. It is a compact and powerful flash that can be used to light up a room and at the same time it is very low profile and makes for easy camera handling. It takes 2 AA batteries and is an inexpensive way to get some extra light.
The great benefit to this flash is it's ability to turn the head directly upwards and turn it into a bounce flash. This gives you a more natural light from above rather than harsh front lighting and helps eliminate shadows in back of what you shoot.
