Info:
The whole cast spent entire shooting days in the water, which was heated to 90 degrees when it was circulated to keep the actors and technicians as warm as possible. "I got used to coming to work every day and putting on my wetsuit," says Bonnie Hunt "It was quite glamorous and I got my aerobic workout during our many water ballets. Half the crew was in with us, so it was a family affair."
For Bonnie Hunt, who was trained in the improvisational comedy environment of the Second City troupe, working with Robin Williams was like revisiting familiar territory.
"It was a match made in heaven," says Hunt. "At Second City, it was always two women and five guys in a cast. Working with Robin alone is like working with all five guys. You never knew what he was gonna do. We had a great time."
From the official Jumanji site.

On working with Robin Williams:
"It was like being with all my six brothers and sisters at the same time, only it was just Robin. I fell madly in love with him."

Love Robin. I consider him a dear friend. He's always encouraging and supportive and so much fun to work with.

Improvising:
Most of their craziest work was off set or captured in outtakes. "I think we both look forward to a time when we can do something together, when we would have the time and develop (the material). This movie was definitely an adventure for the kids. We didn’t waste a lot of time doing what we love to do (improvise). We wanted to be in the movie and make it come to life."

On being in all of that water:
"A nightmare. The whole crew was in the water with us and we used the same water for two and a half weeks. It was like a public swimming pool. We were all taking antibiotics, honestly."

Bonnie on why it's called "Jumanji":
"It's about a Jewish-Italian restaurant, actually."

Apparently Bonnie and Kristen Dunst got on really well. Kirsten has said that Bonnie was great to her and that they would watch old movies in her trailer together.
