Quotes:
John: Your missus was pleased?
Paul: Several times.

Jan: Not that I’m complaining, but we haven’t done it 4 times since we were 19.

Tom Snyder interview.

I did The Green Mile with Tom Hanks, and we were playing a couple in the 1930's in the South, and the director called me and said, you know, "Put some weight on." And then I showed up the first day and he goes, "You've gone too far." But I'm losing it now for this next film I'm doing.

Tom Snyder: How much did you put on for The Green Mile?

Bonnie: Fifteen pounds, easily. Took me about a half an hour. I'm not kidding, I can gain weight faster than anybody. But you know, I'll lose it, I mean, you have to -- because out here, it's just, that's the way it is. But as long as you do it healthy, it's good. You know, I just drink beer through a straw and eat olives.

About the Oscars:
Tom decided to take Rita instead of me, which I couldn’t believe. I guess he’s just not as method as I am.

A&E: Are you going to the Oscars to cheer on The Green Mile?

BH: I'm not going, no. I don't know where I'll be. That is this
Sunday, I think. I'm going to go to the party on Saturday night for
Michael Clarke Duncan and Sunday I don't know where I am. But I think
I will be back in time Sunday night for the Vanity Fair stuff. Every
year I usually get invited to parties and I always feel like the girl
that shouldn't be there.

A&E: What was it like working on a Stephen King based story?

BH: It was great. It was very different. Frank Darabont is a very specific type of story teller. It is a different discipline as an actor to be very ridgid and not change a "the" to an and or an "a" to anything. You know it had to be just the way exactly. That was a nice challenge for me. You know, I get to make out with Tom Hanks - that is always a bonus.

A&E: Do people ask you to make them cornbread?

BH: [Laughing] Yeah, really wouldn't that be something. My husband's
friends all do that. Ask me to bring some cornbread. It looks like
Tom and I ate all the cornbread. The director told us to let our
weight go so we would look like this comfortable married couple, but
we both went way too far. We both love eating so we were just eating
our way through the whole movie. It was great to have a part that you
just didn't care. I mean I hardly had any make up on, barley nothing.
It was so hot and Frank didn't want any air conditioning because he
wanted us to feel the heat. I was like "Please, we're actors! We'll
act like it is hot!"

On Frank Darabont not getting nominated for a best director Oscar:
It just doesn't make sense, Hunt told newsnet5.
How could (a movie) happen without the director at the helm? It doesn't happen by accident. I'm glad at least there was a nod in his direction (for adapted screenplay), because so many times you can get wiped out completely from it," she said.
"I think Tom Hanks should have been nominated, He was absolutely phenomenal in that movie and I don't think he should have been cheated out of it because he's won before.

The Shawshank Redemption' is one of my favourite films, When I got offered this part, I thought, 'God, I get to work with this very unique storyteller in association with Stephen King.

On working with Tom Hanks:
It’s a great job having to make out with Tom Hanks every day. It’s a bonus. I’d go home, and my husband would say ‘Hi honey’ and I’d say ‘don’t even try.’
