I've been in a panic since Wednesday about the novel. My word count was only in the mid-30s and I just knew I'd never get to 50,000 by Friday. Well, fear not, my word count is currently 40,720. I think I'll make it after all. I'll admit, though, scattered amidst the last 15,000 words or so is lots of crap -- huge amounts of crap. But that's one of the things NaNoWriMo is all about, so I guess I shouldn't worry. Be totally embarrassed for myself. Yes. Worry. No.
I've done six reviews for The Weblog Review so far, and finally got my first bit of feedback. It felt nice to get a mention in The Netdork's Domain. I hope I don't have to look at anymore blogs by teen-agers this month. They scare me.
Speaking of scary, RuPaul is the latest celebrity to start a blog. I guess it's not really scary. I'm sure it'll be kind of fun. At any rate, it's got to be better and more interesting than Adam Curry's.
I guess that's all there is to say for now. I'll be back next time I need a break from novelmania.
