EPCOT
Attractions you dont want to miss!
Spaceship Earth Of course were a little biased here, but true EPCOT fans will enjoy this ride. The ride takes you through the history of communications. It starts with the cavemen and continues through the present and even presents some ideas for the future. The ride is slow-moving and takes about 15 minutes. The animatronics are great, the music is relaxing, and the ride is visually entertaining, there is always something to look at. Plus, who does want to go for an air-conditioned ride in the icon of EPCOT. Attention inside Spaceship Earth, attention inside this ride
Test Track This ride is great. It is a ride about how cars go through all sorts of tests and conditions. You, as a guest, will get to experience those tests first-hand. The ride is the fastest at WDW reaching an amazing 65 mph.
Mission Space I havent been on this attraction yet. It was still being constructed while we were on the program but I have heard that it is awesome. It is a ride that allows guests to experience what it feels like to launch into space.
Soarin This is another attraction that just opened. From what Ive heard it is wonderful. I believe its very similar to the attraction at Disneys California Adventure Soarin over California. This attraction is probably definitely worth a visit.
Cranium Command - This is a great show! It is found in the Wonders of Life pavilion. Guests spend a day in the brain of a 12 year old boy. It is funny and informative. There is usually little to no wait!
Maelstrom - This is the Viking boat ride found in Norway. It is very entertaining. It can be a bit scary for young children, but the ride itself is fantastic. There is usually little to no wait. We both absolutely love this ride, but then again, we Blame Norway for this obsession!
Attractions you need to go on.at least once.
Body Wars - This is a ride that simulates you going through the human body. It is set up much like star tours. It is worth seeing once.
The Living Seas - This is a great aquarium. There is so much to see! Young kids will enjoy this attraction. Guests can wander through the aquarium at their own pace. You will see fish, plant life, turtles, sharks and more!
El Rio del Tiemp - This is a slow water boat ride found in the Mexico pavilion. It is fun, very colorful and give you a great taste of Mexicos culture. The lines are always short!
Innoventions- This isnt an attraction per se, but it is a building with lots to see. It has many booths where you can learn about the future. It is definitely worth a walk through. Many people are surprised as how much there is to see. Innoventions is at the heart of EPCOTs themeDiscovery.
Imagination- This ride is great! Its slow moving and you get to see Figment. It obviously is about the imagination. The ride is colorful and something all ages will enjoy!
Living with the Land- This is a very informative ride. It is a boat ride that talks about our planet and the various climates. It is very informative and definitely worth seeing at least once. It is set up in a tour-like fashion with a tour guide and everything.
Attractions that are just OK- only ride after you have done everything else
Universe of Energy- I thought this ride was only OK. Bill Nye the Science guy and Ellen Degeneres take you through a journey where you learn about energy. A bonus is that it is long , dark, and air conditioned!
