ABOUT
Documentation of the Development Process:
The intent and purpose behind this website is to create an online presence for Uncle Steve's store. He wanted his customers to be able to order some shirts and also have a landing page for other information that he wants to relay to his customer. His brick and mortar location also needed to be prmoted via the contact page by providing the address to the store. he also wated to include the store's phone numbe and email address to help be more available to his customer base. I tried to make sure that all the information was easily accessible and able to be found by the customer by making sure all links are available at all times.
Defense of the Final Product:
Overall, I wanted to use colors that were easy on the eyes. I wanted the site to look clean and professional. I decided on using greys, black, white, and red for some accent. I did not want to use the red too much because it is a color that is hard on the eyes.
For layout, I wanted to make sure that all the links stayed available on all pages for ease of site navigation. I also wanted to make sure that each page looked similar to all the others.
Home page: This is the mainpage that all the others will imitate with layout and design. This will hold some general information such as clearance sale notification and some graphics.
About page: This the currently displayed page. This contains the info requested by the rubric.
Shop page: This page will show what t-shirts are available for purchase on the site qnd in the store.
FAQ page: This page will have the answers to frequently asked questions to help assist the customer.
Contact page: This page will contain a form for email and also have the store's phone number and physical address.
Opportunities for Improvement and Growth:
In the future, I'd like to add some more graphics. Something a little more flashy like a slideshow. I'd also like to learn how to bootstrap to possible make the page cleaner and eaiser to navigate. I would like to have a functioning online store with a cart (as that is missing at the time). I'd also like to find a way to incorporate more multimedia of some sort.
