Kerala is a tiny strip of land on the south western tip of India. The state is bound by Arabian
Sea on the west and the Western Ghats on the east. Despite being a small state it boasts of a
variety of fantastic land scapes.

Apart from the normal tourist attractions like beaches & hillstations, what makes Kerala unique
in the world is it's prestene <b><i>back waters</i></b>. These are inlets of sea making their
way into the land forming large lagoons. The lagoons are connected together by a wide network of
rivers and canals. All these water bodies together make a unique ecosystem.
