I have decided to try the online dating thing. I had a friend at work advised me to do it, as he had pretty good luck. I have heard of very few people that have had a negative experience, so I decided to give it a whack. So here goes. I used to have ads up at some of the dating sites, but I found that it really increased the amount of spam I got more than anything else, and they all started charging people to respond. And no way was I going to actually pay for the honor to meet someone. You can get around the money-grubbers with your ad if you modify and bury your email address so it is not a valid HTML tag (ie; get rid of the . @ www com / http type of things). If you still want to try these sites they are match.com, kiss.com, and Yahoo! personals.

I love to travel, and do. I ride motorcycles, and most
importantly, swing and two-step. I love all kinds of (especially
live) music and movies, all kinds of people, and have an
infectious upbeat attitude you can't miss. I have a good job with
a gigantic corporation that keeps me busy during the week (where
hopefully my patent application will soon go thru!), and I am a
respectable upstanding member of society. . . (Gosh, sounds great
for a man when you think about it!) . . . I go to church, do
community theatre and karaoke, work out at the Ymca, cook for
myself, and build race engines. I have a brain and am not afraid
to use it! If you are in town you might recognize me as I used to
hit the local club scene a lot, but always just to dance. I think
I am ready to converse a little now.
Now that my life is rolling along, I need someone to share it
with. I am looking for a wonderful young lady that has a smile on
her face, doesn't smoke, and has time to have fun. There's
nothing wrong with kids and I would love to have some sooner or
later.
