Gandhi has affected our world in countless ways. He has created a philosophy that has changed the way people behave throughout the globe. The nonviolent actions he took were ways of teaching people how become a good person, and to lead an honest life. The two countries, India and Pakistan, were also created after Gandhi had successfully won India's independence from England.

Many people were against Gandhi's methods when he freed India from the tyrannical rule of Britain, and felt that he should have fought the British. Even though some felt that way, it did not discourage Gandhi from winning India's independence, or from educating a number of people around the globe about nonviolent actions. Some of which were a few of the most famous people in America as well. Have you ever heard of Albert Einstein? What about Martin Luther King Jr.? He imitated Gandhi's system of nonviolence to obtain civil rights for African Americans.

I feel that Gandhi has definitely inspired me to become a better person. I really felt it breathtaking when he understood the pain of a common man in India. Along with his crusade against British rule, he campaigned to reform Indian Society.

In conclusion, I believe that Gandhi has created such a peaceful philosophy that if modeled after, would create a much better world.
