Mikes went into business very recently in March of 2017. Although the business is very new, Mike has been in the plumbing business for over 25 years!
Over the years, Mike has worked for varies companies and has experienced any plumbing related issue you can think of. This has given Mike a wide range
of experience in the field.
Documentation of the Development Process :
While developing this website, I used the course materials as a reference. I tried to incorporate everything that we learned throughout the course.
I started out formatting my website how I wanted, mainly the layout and colors. I then started to put in all of the content that was needed to fulfill
the requirements from the rubric.
Defense of the Final Product:
When choosing my design, I went into knowing I wanted to keep it simple and easy to read. Each page has the exact same layout, so navigations would feel
exactly the same for each page. I choose to use a bold format for all of my text, simply because it stands out and is easy to read for the end user.
Opportunities for Improvement and Growth:
I took a lot of feedback from week 6 critique and tried to improve my site that way. I fixed the navigation buttons and the logo on top.
If I was planning on making this a published website for a real business, I would spend much more time developing the site. I would try
to incorporate better formatting for a better layout. Maybe use drop down menus and some java script.
