Kevin Smith is among my favorite film directors. He is responsible for the following films: Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. He also wrote each of the films and played the character Silent Bob, who appears in each of them.
I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Smith on two occasions. The fist of which was at the Wizard World 1999 Comicon in Rosemont, Illinois. The picture with all of the writing on it was taken at that convention.
The Second time that I met him was at the same convention one year later. On that occasion, I got the picture from the previous year signed (hence all of the writing). Also, Jason Mewes, the actor who plays Jay in these films, was also there. I had my picture taken with both of them this time around. I was very happy about that.
In addition to having my picture taken with these fine Hollywood types, I also had my collection of DVDs of the films signed by both Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.
