Section 1: Approach Life and Appearance To OthersCautious, prudent, and rather self-contained, he is a person who approaches life realistically and who is not inclined to take foolish chances or get carried away by the overly optimistic or idealistic schemes of starry-eyed dreamers. In fact, he frequently has a jaundiced view of such things. He is rather worldly-wise at a fairly young age, even something of a cynic. Often the world doesn't seem like a safe, friendly place to him, and he tends to approach life in a guarded, conservative manner. He is generally calculating and careful, and is rarely spontaneous, fluid, open, and childlike. H is pragmatic, shrewd, and an excellent strategist, carefully planning his moves for maximum effectiveness and advantage. He is willing to work long and persistently for what he wants and he often does things the hard way. He does not expect others to take care of him and sometimes refuses or simply doesn't seek any outside help. He is often very ambitious, but quietly so. There is nothing flamboyant or flashy about his approach. He is very responsible, conscientious, and very concerned with his duties to others and how he appears in society, his "rank" so to speak. To others he seems mature, serious, quiet, reflective, and
emotionally detached. He dislikes sloppy sentimentality and
won't openly display his feelings, especially the softer ones.
He respects tradition and the time-honored way of doing things, and he feels there is much to be gained from studying history and also by learning from older, more experienced people. A wise mentor or father is often his guide in life, and he in turn develops a great deal of hard-earned wisdom which he likes to impart to younger people. He has a stern, authoritarian, no-nonsense aspect to his personality. He expects much from himself and may not give himself enough room to experiment and make mistakes. He also tends to be rather close-fisted, to save and
conserve his money and resources rather than spending,
enjoying, or splurging with them. He spends money on things of
quality and of lasting value, things which are good investments,
but not frivolous, temporary pleasures. There is a bit of the
ascetic in him. He has great self-discipline and self-control
and can "do without" very well. His tastes are generally
understated and simple.
Section 2: The Inner You: Your Real MotivationHe is a freedom-loving, strong-willed, and independent-minded individual, and he insists upon living his own life as he sees fit, even if that means ignoring convention and tradition. In personal relationships he cannot be owned or possessed, and while he is willing to share himself with another, he does not always adjust easily to the emotional give and take of a close relationship. Though intellectually open, he can be enormously stubborn, opinionated, and inflexible on a one-to-one level. He has strong convictions and feelings about fairness and equality, and he tries to live by his ideals, but his ideals about how people SHOULD treat one another doesn't always take into account human weaknesses, differences, and needs. He probably dislikes sentimentality and traditional gender roles and "games". He is fair, intelligent, objective, rational and often lets his head rule rather than his heart. He seems rather self-sufficient and detached emotionally because he is capable of putting aside his personal feelings and viewing things dispassionately. But once he makes up his mind on an issue, he is difficult to sway and can be rather dogmatic. He thinks in broad terms and is concerned with the world beyond his own personal sphere - his town, nation, or even planet. He is likely to become involved in community affairs, social organizations, and groups of all kinds, or to have a keen interest in such. He enjoys being part of a group endeavor and often finds himself organizing, managing, or supervising group activities. Forward-looking and progressive, he harbors great hopes for the future. He stays current and up to date, and responds to contemporary cultural trends, both in terms of personal style and in terms of ideas. When young, he were very influenced by his peers and by group pressures and by all the "latest crazes". He has an experimental mind and is attracted by the novel. His strong points include his concern for human welfare and social betterment, his sense of fairness and democratic spirit, and his vision. His faults are his stubbornness and inflexibility, and a tendency to be very obtuse and insensitive when it comes to personal feelings and human needs. Positions of Planets at Birth:
