C Battery 94th Field Artillery deployed to Berlin in 1963, shortly after the Soviets sealed West Berlin from access by citizens of East Germany. This unit became the Berlin Brigade's first and only artillery unit. In 1986, the 94th Field Artillery was deactivated (with the exception of A Battery, assigned to the 1st Armored Division) and C 94th was renamed E Battery 320th Field Artillery. Initially assigned to the Combat Support Battalion, E Battery became a part of the 6th Battalion, 40th Armor along with the 42nd Engineer Company and Delta Company (TOW) 6-502 Infantry. After the departure of tanks from Berlin in 1992, E Battery fell in once again under the Combat Support Battalion until it's deactivation in 1994.
