California's Route 206

      Route 206 is from Route 30 in San Bernardino via Little Mountain
to Route 15 near Verdemont.  {CS&HC Sec. 560.  1970}



1991:  Route 206 deleted.



      The main purpose of this highway was to take people to CSU San Bernardino
(not academically), which lies in the middle of the route.  To get there, head east
on University Avenue.  Also, the route may have served as a connector between 
Routes 15 and 30.  Before 1991, the Route 30 freeway was not connected to Route 
15.  Instead, it began at H Avenue, just a mile east of Route 15.
