One important symbol “On the Sidewalk Bleeding” is Andy’s jacket. Andy’s jacket is significant because it symbolizes his second identity his second identity being a royal and his first being andy. Andy’s second identity cost him his life because royals are just seen as just a dangerous gang. “He had known excruciating pain when the blade was pulled away ̈. This quote is significant because the jacket or the second identity ended his life and in a way both identities were both killed because no one except for Laura knew him as Andy and he wanted everybody to see him as Andy and not a Royal, and the being a Royal killed him because he did not want to die just being known as a Royal. The symbolism of Andy's jacket relates to real life gangs because some gangs are just known for being dangerous and some gangs are not dangerous, and it if you saw a dying gang member in the alleyway would you help the person this story relates a lot to the real world more than you think. .

Have you ever thought if Homework was limited, well I have, just imagine if you have some much time on your hands with no homework in the way. I think homework at school should be limited. One reason I think homework should be limited is it takes away time to spend with your family and friends, according to Suskind Dorothy, “Most adults work eight-to 10 hour days and expect unstructured time in the evening to complete household chores and connect with families…”.(.2). The second reason homework should be limited is homework can be stressful. After a long day of school it is hard enough to get through eight periods in a day and to go on top of that more homework. According to Suskind Dorothy “Nearly 90 percent of students reported feeling stressed about doing homework, and one-third felt that way frequently”.(.11). .
