Didn't do anything here last week because I got sick. The first day of my days off last week, I had a sore throat. The next day, headache. Going back to work, I find out that I need to work 6 days straight & need to train someone that got hired right away. The headache was gone, but the sore throat remained. Along the way, my voice got deeper since I need to talk a lot on the phone, to guests, & teaching the trainee. It has hell really. As of now, I still have a sore throat with dry coughing on the side. Hopefully, I got better before going back to work. Also, this past week, my hotel manager finally announced my promotion after increasing my pay half a month ago to everyone by putting up a notice on the bulletin board. I'm now an Assistant Manager. Whoopie! I've been promoted in less than a year. It happened to me at my old workplace in another hotel as well where I got promoted to manager status. I must have something that helps me get promoted that fast. Not sure what really. But usually after a rise to management status, a lot of problems come after me. Major ones that is. I guess my luck needs to be greater cancelled out with a lot of hell problems for me. It sucks really as it really puts me in higher risk in losing my job. Also, my manager at this hotel is more stricter than my previous one. His attitude towards guests is very bad & that's just the first impression he gives to them. I sometimes wonder how the heck he became manager with that attitude. He's really a strict & hot-headed person.
This past week, I got my Rozen Maiden Träumend Suigintou figure from the mail. The box is pretty thin than I thought. It was bubble wrapped weakly & I still have it like that. From the looks of it, it's not bad in terms of the face. There's a lot of small parts to assembly around her headband & the wings need to be attached. But the base looks different from the pics found in the web by Yujin. It's a small black square base supporting the cross from the looks of it. There's probably more parts inside the box that can't be seen maybe.
I'm not going to update anything here this week since I want to recover some more & didn't do anything while I was sick. I'm thinking if I should put up a collectable review, anime review, or a download next time. Most likely an anime review though.

It's a new month, so time to achieve all the September 2006 stuff into the Past News Achieve section. Plus, it's time for the fall season of anime shows to come out this month. Lots of new stuff really. So, I put up a lot of completed anime reviews in a hurry to get ready for the new ones:
That's a lot really, especially with the condition that I'm currently in.
Yesterday around late afternoon, I got a sore throat. I don't know how that happened really. It got worse today. Don't know if it's going to affect my work since I do a lot of talking in person & over the phone. Hopefully it fixes itself up tomorrow or just get better.
As for next week's update, I don't know if I'll get anything up here. Pretty much put up a lot as it is. Plus, I'm still too tired from stress mentally & physically. It's probably the affects from high season from the hotel still. I was surprised how busy it got in September. There were some signs of slowing down, but it wasn't a major one nor did it decrease. Simply amazing, since I'm pretty much one person doing most of the job there.
