The last week of July & Soul Calibur IV is coming very near.  I know that some areas have the game already due to early releases by small independent stores & those are really early releases.  Anyways, I'm going to try to see if I can nail the LE version.  I know how much it is & I've found a place that has it on sale.  A savings of $10.  I'm going to see if I'm able to get it.

Speaking of games, I've brought some old PS2 games.  Don't know why I did that.  Got one used game (KOF 2006 aka KOF:MI2) & FF XII (greatest hits version).  Although I'm into RPGs & this will kill some time before FF XIII or something similar comes to PS3, I'm just blowing a major hole in my wallet to the big credit card billing I'm having this month.  I should really watch the rest of my spending for the remainder of the summer at least.  Plus, I still have many PSP games to finish.  Looking back, I've been spending a lot of money.  Dang!

Even more dang is that I got sick again last week to now.  I was able to get healed the next day with the exception of cold feet.  But when I went to work the next day, I got sick again.  At first, I thought it was the place being stuffy.  It was only that I realize what the problem was when I had a lot of gas & have a tough time crapping.  This is the same problem as last year.  I'm under stress again & my body has stopped functioning again at certain points.  Thus, my intestines have been clogged again.  So this week, no updates which I regret.  I want to get lazy in order to recover

Lately, I've been very tired or lazy.  I haven't got much things done as I want them to such as cleaning my room, re-organizing things, updating this place, etc.  Either way, my time management has been very poor these days.  Might be because it's summer now.  Plus, work has been driving me crazy.

When one of our front desk agent called in sick (she ate some seafood that wasn't cook well) & we couldn't find anyone to cover the evening shift, our GM decided to do it.  I felt he will finally understand how we feel.  Worse part was expecting to get hell from him the next day which is what really happened.  Told me that he felt like yelling & screaming at the front desk staff.  Basically, me since I was working the shift before.  What happened was he got guest complaints.  Complaints of things that should have been done on my shift.  It's not really my fault as I passed the information to the other staff members, but they failed to do them.  One was the wrong room number was passed & the other was failed equipment.  Another is about the direct bills shipped having the wrong reservation backups.  I'm responsible for setting up/preparing the mailings & I don't know how I manage to let some of them slip.  Anyways, to make a long story short, I'm pretty pissed at my GM & am pushing my job search further even though he found out that I wasn't at fault later in the day.  No apology was given to me even though I gave some to him.

Thus, the maintenance guy & I plan to leave the company.  Little did I knew that it would bring up an old friend.  She was the one that trained me at my current job before she left for another job.  Aside from the fact that she's going to help me out in find a job at her workplace, I guess I should thank the maintenance guy in having the two of us talk to each other again.  Haven't contact her for two years pretty much.

In the mail, I got my Mirei-San PVC figurine last week.  Based on a quick glance, it's not that great as I told/heard it would be.  It's nice, but seem to be over hyped.  That or the fact that I got the Blue Abyss version which isn't highly popular.  PVC figures are currently on hold as the ones I would like to get are coming in the fall/winter season. 

The next PVC figurine coming is Soul Calibur III Ivy.  Was iffy about that one due to the face & maker (ebcraft).  But I decided to take the plunge as the face started to look better.  Initially, I wanted to wait for her costume from the fourth game installment.  But I thought about it as I won't know how to display her since her chest is nearly fully exposed.  So, this took the cake.  To be released at the end of September.  There are two on my maybe list for end of October.  Then I got the adult version of Alice from Queen's Gate coming at the end of the year.  But that would come to me next year.

In anime news, FUNimation (big surprise) got Baccano!  I wonder how this company is able to get so much funding for this stuff.

Updates this week is still weak again.  Only one anime review I want to get out for my list & that is AIKa R-16 - Virgin Mission - (finally!)

Finally got my Shunya Yamashita WILD FLOWER artbook last week.  The book looks thicker than his previous book & does seem to have some new works that weren't seen before.  Anyways, it's a pretty good book.  Will put a review about it sometime in the future.

What I got recently also is the PS3 MGS4 80GB bundle.  Brought it at HMV at Oakridge Centre even though I had a preorder from the Sony Store  in Richmond Centre.  I was told by the sales person at the Sony Store that I am second in line for the system.  They would be getting eight of them.  But the way he counted them in front of me tells me a different story.  I am on the second page of the list & he was counting names on the first page.  Plus, the numbers he counted seems more than eight.  Either way, there's no way I'm second on the list if he counted the names like that.  But at least I have security in case my current one has something wrong which is doesn't at the moment.

Since I got a PS3 now, I went shopping for some accessories for it like the Blu-Ray remote & HDMI cable.  I tried to get another DS3 controller, but held out on it.  There were a bunch of opened boxed ones at Future shop, but they are all gone for some strange reason.  I think it has to do to with the sale they have on the controllers right now.  Since I recently brought Vitrua Fighter 5 which is the only two player game in the house, I'm going to hold out a bit until another opened box opportunity appears or some big sale.  By the way, I don't plan to PS3 reviews since I'm pretty late in the game now.  But if it happens, I may do it.  Time has been very tight for me now.  So tight, I nearly for got to do this update.

Just when I was about start the updating on the Welcome to Pia Carrot!! 3 special section, I get an email from a media hosting company.  Says that they will be discontinuing their services next month.  Reason was the transferring of data from one brand to another wasn't doable for some reason.  The updated pages have background music now & finding a free place to store & play them was time consuming for me.  First, I get the company transferring my files to another company due to a merge & now this!   I don't plan to do the updates until I find another media hosting company.  I don't want to re-update them for a lack of music.  Thankfully I'm slow.

In anime news, Bandai Entertainment licensed Hayate the Combat Butler at Anime Expo 2008.  Also at the expo, Rightstuf got Gakuen Alice & Toward the Terra.  Viz took Hunter X Hunter.  Outside the event, FUNimation makes another announcement by acquiring Murder Princess.  That company is really going at it.

Updates for this week are none again.  But I want to clean out some old anime reviews on my computer since the new anime season is in effect now.  The reason for the slowness is due to the PS3.  Damn you, Sony!  Plus, Soul Calibur IV is on my hit list now.

My Shunya Yamashita WILD FLOWER artbook has yet arrived from the mail.  Most likely to come this week anyways.  Also coming soon now is another Shunya Yamashita work which is Mirai-san in PVC form.  I'm probably like the only one or few that don't have her.  The version I'm getting is the Blue Abyss version that was sold only on Amazon.co.jp. 

In anime news, FUNimation signed a deal with Geneon Entertainment last week to distribute the remain anime licenses that are held by Geneon Entertainment USA.  So, they are picking up where Geneon USA left off.  Now I can complete my When They Cry collection.  But I don't know how it will work.  Will they continue with volume four or redo everything again?  FUNimation also will be marketing past complete series such as Ergo Proxy, Black Lagoon, Fate/stay night, etc.  Would be interesting to see how this will turn out.  As a side note, Geneon USA is still the license holder of all the anime that was under their name.

In other anime news, ADV has halt the shipment of some anime titles.  One of them is the Kanon Volume six which is the last one.  Damn, I had that ordered with my Lucky Star Volume two LE as well.  Now I have to wait for Kanon to come out to get Lucky Star.  The reason why ADV halted shipment was due to holding/licensing rights again I heard.

Updates for this week is still weak.  Only got a review of Kanokon up.  I got a lot of catching up to do for anime shows.
