Family History

Christian Friedrich Theodor BASTMANN - was born 8 Oct 1854 in Gnoyen, Mecklenburg, Germany.
Margaretha Luise Wilhelmine BUSEKIST - was born 27 FEB 1858 in Burg, Fehmarn, Germany.  They were married 22 NOV 1878 in Burg, Fehmarn, Germany.  to this union was blessed two daughters and eleven sons.   Five of the boys came to the United States of America.  They were: 

     Wilhelm Friedrich- was born 9 Jan 1878 in Bannesdorf, Fehmarn, Germany.

     Heinrich Matthaeus Martin - was born 28 MAR 1879 in Todendorf, Fehmarn, Germany.

     Bernhardt Georg Jürgen - born on 26 JUL 1880 in Burg  Auf Fehmarn, Germany.  He married Ida Dora Sophie HANSEN in 29 Jul 1906 and to this union they were blessed with one daughter Margaretha Louse Wilhelmine.  They immigrated to Diamond Lake Twp., Dickinson County, Iowa, USA.  They arrived at the Port of New York, New York on 25 Apr 1907.  Then they had five more daughters and three boys: Olga, Ida, Benjamin, August, Emma, Elsi, Harry and Rosalie. Bernhardt died 1 Jan 1925 in  Round Lake twp, Jackson County, MN

     Caroline Henriette Wilhelmine - was born 3 JAN 1882 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany.  She married Heinrich DONATH on 15 MAR 1901 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany.  To this union they were blessed with two girls and three boys. Johannes, Elise, Friedrich, Heinrich and Wilhelmine.  Caroline died 20 Nov 1956 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany

     Georg Julius Johannes - born 13 Aug 1883, in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany.  He married Dora Catharina AHRENS on 13 MAY 1908 in Bannesdorf, Fehmarn, Germany. Georg immigrated from Cuxhaven, Hamburg, Germany on 17 APR 1911, to Lake Park, Dickinson County, Iowa, USA with his wife Dora immigrating in 8 JUL of the same year. She died 1939 in Sioux Valley twp, Jackson County MN.  Georg died 6 Dec 1962 in Lake Park, IA

    Hermann Christian Ernst - Was born 29 AUG 1885 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany.  He married Johanna Wilhelmine ERIKSEN 4 Feb 1910 in Burg auf Femarn and they had a daughter Luise Karoline Wilhelmine, born on 17 MAR 1911 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany. Two sons Friedrich Bernhard Heinrich born 24 Jul 1912 and Bernhard Ferdinand Hermann born 6 Apr 1914 both in Burg auf Fhmarn.
 

     Peter Adolf Joakim - born on 22 Jul 1887 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany and immigrated to Lake Park, Dickinson County, Iowa, USA.  He arrived at the port of New York, New York on the 19 Nov 1910.  US Army, SGT, d. 28 MAR 1958, threw 1 APR 1052.  He married Mary V. DAVIS 2 Jul 1942 in Lebanon, MO.  She died 9 Apr 1970 in Lebanon.  Adolf died 28 Mar 1952 in Lebonan and is buried at Springfield National Cemetery, Springfield, Greene County, Missouri http://www.interment.net/data/us/mo/greene/springnat/springfield_babel.htm

    Otto Johannes Heinrich - was born 12 MAY 1889 in Burg, Fehmarn, Germany.  married Leona M. FLEMING. She died 29 Oct 1959 in RIVERSIDE CA.  Otto Died 24 May 1984 in San Bernardino, CA

    Heinrich Carl Peter - was born 13 FEB 1891 in Burg, Fehmarn, Germany. Immigrated at the age of 15 to Ellis Island, NY 21 Mar 1906 aboard the ship Amerika.  Destination Round Lake, MN to Uncle Johannes Kluver farm.  Died 7 May 1911 in Diamond Lake Township, Dickinson County, IA. with burial 9 May in the Sioux Valley cemetery, In Jackson County, MN

    Wilhelm Robert Ferdinand - was born 13 JAN 1893 in Burgstaaken,  Fehmarn, Germany. Died 6 Jun 1915 in vermißt bei MoulinS.

    Wilhelm Johannes Carl - was born 12 May 1894 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany. He immigrated at age 16 from Burg  auf Fehmarn, Germany on 14 NOV 1910 to Dickinson County, Iowa.  He died on the 15 SEP1918 while serving in the U. S. A. Army 346th Infantry Division in France after being among the men first to be drafted from Jackson County, MN

    Wilhelm Friedrich Carl  - was born on 31 Dec 1897 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany and immigrated to Lake Park, Dickinson County, Iowa, USA.  He arrived at the port of New York, New York on 18 Apr 1913.  On June 27, 1917 in Jackson, MN he married Bertha Dorthy DWINGER and to that union was blessed three girls and two boys: Ellen, Dale, Johann, Edna and Anna.  Wilhelm died 20 Apr 1969 in Spirit Lake, IA

    Dora Margaretha Lucinde - born November 04, 1898 in Burg, Fehmarn, Germany. Died 05 Jan 1903  in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany.

     Carl Friedrich Heinrich - born February 24, 1900 in Burg auf Fehmarn, Germany.  Died 1944 at Dachau Dachauer Landkreis Bavaria (Bayern), Germany
