Is there a GMD board game?
Yes. Finland created a board game called Mestarietsivä
Basil Hiiri.
Is there a GMD
video game?
Yes, but it is, unfortunately, on obsolete platforms. Created
by Bob Armour of Gremlin Graphics, music by Ben Daglish, Basil the
Great Mouse Detective was released in 1987 on PC computers and
gaming systems Amstrad, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64/128, and Atari XL/XE.
In the game, Dawson has been kidnapped by Professor Ratigan and it's
up to Basil to explore the maze of London's sewers and riverfronts to
rescue him, watching out for the numerous mousetraps, nasty thugs, and
the occasional cheese — yum! Despite its kid-friendly simplicity
and monotonous colours, it's a rather addictive game, with eight "false
clues" to find, usually hidden in pots and jars, in five scenarios.
What is Kingdom Hearts? Will
GMD be appearing in the third game?
Accordingly, GMD was "highly rumored" to
appear in the first game prior to its release, but did not appear in
the actual final game.
perhaps Kingdom Hearts should get a mention
skyedream75: apparently GMD was "highly rumored" to appear
in the first game prior to its release, but did not appear in the actual
final game.
skyedream75: it is possible perhaps in the future GMD will gain a cameo
somewhere in the series.
skyedream75: seeing as each KH game tries to bring new worlds into the
story. (Heck, Tron of all things was in the last one.)
this could've been due to the inclusion of Big Ben though, used for
the Neverland world.
