ZAGAN

Zagan is a demon, recognized as a king among their kind and is the 61st recorded spirit in the sacred Ars Goetia.

Zagan enjoys applying their power to transform and express the physical world, and thus they are adept in the art of Alchemy, willing to teach it in many forms. They may change liquids into other liquids, such as wine into water, water into blood, and any other sort of combination, guaranteedly if the desired substance is homogeneous. Any form of metal may be transmuted by them into splendorous geometric coins, made purely of the metal and also matching it's capital value to the substance, if specified. Even for those most foolish, Zagan is capable of making one witty, educated, and perceptive. They command a court of around 198,000 demons.

When roaming, Zagan canters with a dandy gait so that all around them may look at their image impressedly, but when there is work to be done they become earnestly focused. They have the form of a powerful bull with great eagle's wings and a body of bronze, brass or gold. The material of their mass may be shifted at a whim and they are also capable of a humanoid form if it is deemed neccessary. Due to their likeness and potential historical significance, they are deemed to hold a similarity with Bael, Lord of Excess, and they may share some form of acquantince.

For the innovative sort, Zagan is a perfect instructor as to the flow and possibilities of the world, and is very much willing to set aside time to indulge in the gratuities that they bring. They are particularly intrigued with changing states and opposites between things, often experimenting and researching new methods to invert the qualities of objects for their benefit and entertainment. Those who observe this spirit learn to contemplate the nature of their surroundings and the words of others and to manage strength as to evolve beyond what may be holding them back. Cattle and serpents are both sacred to Zagan.
