PAIMON

Paimon is a demon, recognized as a king among their kind and is the 9th recorded spirit in the sacred Ars Goetia.
Paimon is a mighty official and a vital, obedient sycophant to the Lord of The Earth, beloved by a cavalcade of spirits who usually accompany them in their business. They teach all liberal arts and sciences, detailing the nature of the waters and winds on Earth, the qualities of the mind and spirit, ancient secrets and studies, and whatever else one may desire to know. Their power may bind any man or familiar, making them subject to the demon or whoever seeks their patronage, especially if said subjects are particularly strong or applicable. They may grant honorable dignities unto those who praise them and will make sure that they are upheld. They command a grand court of around 1,200,000 demons.

Wherever they might go, a troupe of many demons follows in their wake, playing trumpets and cymbals and all sorts of other instruments in honor of their darling king. They appear as an androgynous humanoid, adorned with glorious wrappings and the headress of a sultan, riding upon a dromedary camel. Great, roaring words emit from their voice, making their speech incomprehensible to any they do not wish to be heard by. If they are conjured or appear for a special audience, they will be joined by their two primary deputies, the demons Labal and Abali, along with some spirits subservient to these deputies and 150,000 members of Paimon's court.

The popularity that Paimon holds amongst the throngs of their kind roots deeply in their ability to influence and supervise, and thus they should be willing to provide guidance as to political or leadership matters. What it is that Paimon neccessarily influences or supervises is unknown, but whole bacchanals often stir up around them in celebration of their illustrious image. Their personality can make them difficult to work with, as they'll often fancy coercing services and answers out of those who contacted them in the first place before providing any of their own efforts. It is known that they rule under the direction West and may have some counsel with Corson, some even claiming that they are indeed a Cardinal Lord. Camels, goats and serpents are all sacred to Paimon.
