Amaymon, Corson, Ziminar, and Gaap are four powerful demons who, for the most part, are shrouded in obscurity. Their names and some footnotes of their nature are present in the observations of Solomon, but despite their seemingly crucial significance to the dissection of the sacred Goetia, they are likely the most mysterious of the true demonic entities known to humanity. What little that can be deduced, though, tells us that they are important authority figures among spirits like themselves and may shed crucial insight that is not fully understood about the demonic power structure. Their spiritual energy is so great that it is wise to only conjure them under dire circumstance, if the knowledge of doing such a thing is even publically avaliable.

Amaymon, also known as Mammon, is a great spirit called the Lord of Avarice who rules under the direction East. Many powerful demons are subservient to them, including Asmoday, Beleth, and Gaap. It is said that they have a vile, poisonous breath, and can grant splendorous riches and treasures to those they deem worthy.

Corson is a great spirit who rules under the direction West. There is little to no knowledge regarding their nature.

Ziminar is a great spirit who rules under the direction North. There is little to no knowledge regarding their nature.

Gaap is a great spirit who rules under the direction South. They are an exception within their sect as they are the 33rd recorded spirit in the Ars Goetia and one of full description.

No two sources have matching records of what specific beings comprise their members, yet they all explain the same basic concept. It is possible that the positions in this quartet may shift between different recipients under unknown conditions, but the subject is too convoluted to be sure, and other names that have been attributed to this hierarchy include Egyn, a humanoid demon of the North with a vast set of powers, Oriens, a horse-like demon of the East with a court so huge it is considered inumerable, and other known demons including Paimon, Beleth, Asmoday, Belial, and even Satan. It is highly likely, though, that the organization by Solomon is correct due the importance of Amaymon to the functioning of other high-profile beings. The significance of their North-South-East-West affiliation is understood to not be from a literal ruling of those forces, but because they are the most suitable spirits to be called upon when working ritually with cardinal orientation.
