Lilin are demons who seduce and pleasure others in return for their spiritual energy.

In history and modern mainstream consciousness, these are the Succubi and Incubi of legend. Contrary to that connection, though, they do not consume the soul or life-force of other beings to maim or kill them. They simply feed on energy, which leaves their partners drained, but only as badly as any other strenuous activity would. This way, there is the possibility of a continual mutual benefit, as both parties bask in the ecstasy of their supernatural passion so that the demon may benefit from the energy that catalyzes them. They are also just as clever as they are beautiful, willing to jape others for their own amusement or educate those who seek them in demonic knowledge.

Lilin are like other demons in that they can become any form or gender, which they often use to excite themselves and others. It is said that they are of potent occult power and that they are skilled in all manner of seduction and secrecy, making them valuable associates for other demons. Sleep paralysis and other dream-related phenomena is reportedly a sign that one is being approached by a Lilin. The mightiest of these spirits are the Lilitu, who often have many spirits under their fellowship and report directly to the greatest members of their race.

Astaroth, a great entity of lusty dominion, is understood to be the progenitor of the Lilin, although Sitri and other demons likely command them as well.
