LILITH-ASTAROTH

This entity, identified by the names Astaroth and Lilith both, but also known as Ashteroth, Astarte, and Innana,is a demon, recognized as an entity of great power among their kind and is the 29th recorded spirit in the sacred Ars Goetia.

Astaroth is quite possibly one of the most powerful demons known and one of the most influential to humanity, with societies far before recorded history participating in their tantalizing honors. They are the paragon of Lust and all its forms, dealing in the greatest pleasures, and encouraging all to further their deepest, darkest desires. All sexuality is sacred under Astaroth and highly celebrated, from the sweetest loves to the ultimate depravities. They have a powerful breath that incapacitates the wills and inhibitions of those affected by it, and can also seduce in this way. They have a mastery over all liberal arts and can make others just as knowledgeable, if they seek it. They command a court of around 240,000 demons of a special variety, known as the Lilin, powerful energy-consuming spirits of sex and intimacy.

As with all demons, Astaroth is of a protean gender and form, and they savor this ability to a truly lascivious extent, often appearing with a mixture (if not several pairs) of genitals and an expression that is either androgynous or extremely masculine or feminine. Their maternal form has been the most idolized throughout time, often manifesting as a deity of fertility, sexuality, and even conquest. Examples of this include the ancient Canaanites, who worshipped them as Astarte, and the ancient Sumerians, who worshipped them as Innana or Ishtar. Most notable is the figure Lilith, who was equally admired and feared as the patron spirit of the great, ancient city of Babylon, and this icon has remained strong to the present day, often revered by witches and occultists as an empowered feminine icon. They often appear riding upon a great beast and with a serpent held in their hand or wrapped around their nude body.

Astaroth is a prime advocator for those who lavish in their bodies, express themselves through their gender or sexuality, and seek to treat others with carnal passion. The premium body under which to celebrate Astaroth's devices is the Moon, whether it be looming in the day or flushed in the night. Indeed, they are a being of immense power who relishes in adoration, encouraging such through sexual experimentation, masturbation, orgies, and bodily arts such as yoga or dance. Serpents, lions, rabbits and goats are all sacred to Astaroth.
