I have been angling ever since I was a kid. That is over 40 years fishing experience. When I was young a lot of my friends did not fish but flew radio control model aircraft. As I was hanging around with them it seemed only natural for me to make rc model boats, using the modelling knowledge my friends had. This came in handy after I got married and for a while (my own kids!) I had not enough time to spend a full day angling, so RC modelling was easier to get the time for doing. So I got into model planes, robots and all kinds of radio control. Once the kids grew up, it was back to angling. |
| When I returned to angling it only seemed natural to use my modelling skills to enhance my fishing results. |
So I looked at baitboats, sonar and fishing
electronics. At first I was shocked at the high price of commercially made baitboats. So I drew up my own plans and made my own bait boat. |
It is quite easy to make your own bait boat.
And the cost will be about half of what you would pay for a "pre-made"
baitboat. It's fun doing it too ! |
