| Food Eclectus parrots have special dietary requirements. It is important for them to eat more friuts and vegetables than other parrot species. Eclectus parrots are sensitive to artificial coloring and vitamin supplements. Avoid, salt, sugar, and fried foods. | Monty on the right with his baby brother (Cash), on the left. They LOVE to be misted with a spray bottle. Cash wants to make sure I don't miss a spot! They also get a big boy shower about once a month. I use "Georges Aloe" to mist them occasionally, it is good for their feathers and skin. I give them a light drying with a hair dryer from a distance, being careful not to overheat them, or dry out their skin. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
