| Coach Don Ostermann, or Coach O. as he is fondly called, has greatly influenced both the school and his runners for the 20+ years he has been here. During that time, he has helped countless numbers of runners reach their full potential, giving them advice, not only on running, but on life in general as well. However, he has been known to say some interesting things as well, which I have dubbed "The Quotes of Coach O." Nobody knows the origons of these sayings. Some say they were passed down from generation to generation, while others say he got them from a magic leprechaun. I think he just makes them up, but nonetheless, they are there and have become part of the legend known as Coach O. |
1. "In the days of old, when knights were bold, and toilets weren't invented, they laid their load beside the road, and went along contented."
2. "Well that's like a dollar waitin' on a dime."
3. "Now WHY are we...(insert what we are doing wrong)?"
Ex. "Now WHY are we flying a kite out of the back of the bus?"
4. "Now there are a million reasons why we don't want to run, but there's one main reason why we should run."
