Toys in the Show-case

Dropping fake coins in my begging bowl,
What are you looking at from the corners of your eyes?
Love and hunger are both blind,
You hold the other end of their rope in your hands
So as much as you like, you can feed me.
My needs are pawned in your name.
You can give me a cactus to eat if you like
Or give me poison drop by drop all my life,
Give me a little love once,
And then like the camel
Take me on journeys for as long as you like.
Why do you avoid looking me in the eye?
Sorrow and waiting are both deep,
The pulse is under your fingers
So you can prolong my treatment for as long as you like.
Silent, eyes downcast, the wife is walking behind you,
The other end of her rope is in your hands,
You can twist and turn any which way you like.
Like a lifeless figure
I sit pretty in your show-case
You live even my share of life.
The sun rises daily to comfort me

this cannot go on forever!
I will look you in the eyes one day
And question you:
Why do you keep dragging me so?
Before my force bursts forth in angry hatred
Let us pull out these gender differences by their roots,

On the basis of equality, plant the seedlings of a new society.
