The river to us life it is a giver 
straight from the source flowing its course
Endless unchanging ready to deliver 
gentle but persuasive using its force

The ebb and flow where it reaches the sea 
it comes and goes like fruits on the tree
Each has its season following divine reason 
returning through Sion to its new horizon

Spelling it out for the faithful to see 
as the earth moves around to a different degree
As like minds combine with spirit agree 
time marches on shackles release we are free

Arise to the morning of the everlasting day, 
we’ll be there we listen to what they say
