A CAT AMONGST THE PIGEONS

Set plans in motion or steer a course,
Follow your vocation with your resource,
Set goals and time limits on destination,
There is no need for you even to question.

Go boldly on with out a worry,
At your pace, no need to hurry,
Till brought up to a sudden stop,
Something’s caught you on the hop.

Something that you had not planned on, 
A banana skin of life to stand on, 
The recourse that was meant to be,
But in your planning you did not see.

An ordered life put into chaos,
Don’t despair don’t lose face, 
It’s just something you didn’t count on,
A cat thrown in among the pigeons
